Happy Happy Halloween!

Happy (Belated) Halloween!

I know this post really isn't Filofax-related but I just wanted to share my exciting Halloween with you :-)

You may or may not know but my birthday is actually on Halloween and so yesterday I was blowing out 20 candles and bidding adieu to my teenage years.

To make this day even more special, my amazing parents & boyfriend made my dreams come true! Are you ready for this? :D

Behold! The Famous Tiffany Box!

It was one of my biggest dreams to wake up to breakfast in bed with a side of the gorgeous Tiffany boxes and thanks to the most amazing people in my life, it happened! I was truly one spoilt 20-year-old gal yesterday and it wouldn't have been half as good if I didn't get to spend it with the people I love most ♥ I would take my friends & family over all the Tiffany boxes in the world, any day :D

But, I was lucky enough to have it all on my birthday and very much enjoyed my new bracelet & matching necklace. (p.s. My beau & my mum actually went shopping for this together and apparently he picked it out. I just thought that was the sweetest thing & I absolutely loooooove it. He just gets me ♥)

Now, onto my pumpkin :D

The previous day we had gone out & bought our very first Halloween pumpkin to carve. Halloween isn't a big thing here in Australia but every year, there seems to be a lot more people celebrating it. This was the first time I had seen these pumpkins at the stores so I knew I just had to get one (to satisfy my inner child despite the fact that I'm a year older)

The only problem was that I had a 2500 word essay due the next day and unfortunately nowhere near finishing it :( So, despite the early excitement, I spent the whole day reading & writing. Eventually, at 3am, I was done! And way to eager to carve that pumpkin that I was up 4 hours later to get started :D

What do y'all think for my first time? Not bad, right?

BOO!
Be very afraid!! :P

Afterwards, I made Roasted Cinnamon Pumpkin Seeds so that was pretty fun :D And then I went to hand that darn essay in (on my day off, might I add!) But, I was having another day full of amazing gifts from amazing people because I received a package all the way from Japan. I had first sent Mitsuko a package as she was my 500 Followers Giveaway winner & it was incredibly sweet of her to send so me so much, even when she didn't have to!

Letter sets, Coleto pen, Frixion pens & highlighters, hole reinforcement stickers, transparent sticky notes...
The list goes on!
It's kinda like she read my mind! All of these things were stuff I wanted & had planned to get when I got the chance so I'm even more grateful :D

Please check out her Instagram & YouTube channel if you haven't already - she really is amazing!

So that concludes my "2-day-birthday" :D

I know it was pretty long & may not be as exciting for you as it was for me but I just wanted to thank all the amazing people in my life who are always there for me and do just about everything for me.

Hope y'all had a great Halloween as well & happy November! My how the time flies!

Love always,
Anna Banana
