Welcome to my Life! - Room Tour

2 posts in one day, could it be?!

Yes it could! Mainly because I'm guilty of not posting in a while & am honestly not sure as to when my next post would be :P

So, I posted a picture of my bedside table on Instagram yesterday, and the lovely Abby (click here for her Instagram & Blog) suggested a room tour. I just thought that would be such a fun little thing to do so here I am! Enjoy & feel free to leave your questions or comments down below!

Welcome!

As you can see, this is my door. The little polaroids are from Typo & I just pegged them onto some twine with some adorable mini wooden pegs. Then I used blu-tak & washi tape to stick them up. The 'Keep It Peachy' poster is from Frankie Magazine (February 2014)

"Elegance is the only beauty that never fades"
- Audrey Hepburn

And here we have a shot of my bed. It takes up most of my room :-) I love Audrey Hepburn & look up to her so much so I thought it fitting to have her up front & centre. They were having this poster sale at uni and trust me, it's huge. But it wasn't at all expensive and so worth it. My bed, bedside table & the fairy lights are from a furniture store called Freedom and my bookshelf & lamp are from Ikea.

Can you spot the wannabe Prada sign from Gossip Girl? ;P

Here is a closer look at my book shelf & 'make-up station' I guess - the cart is also from Ikea :-) I just fell in love with the colour so I had to get it. The top tier has my daily make-up & whatnot, the middle has all my nail polishes, some jewellery & perfume and the bottom has my hair stuff like a straightener & hot rollers.

These are the decorations on top of my bookshelf. You may be thinking, 'Does she not know how to spell her own name?' - well, actually there's a story behind that. My best friend & I went shopping and our bags got mixed up after lunch.

We only realised when we got home & decided to keep each other's initials as a best friend thing. I think it's cute :-) She also made me the teddy bear cross-stitch behind it. I also have candles from Ikea & Dusk. I also have a jar full of gumballs because they just look so cute and colourful, don't you think?

10 points to whoever can guess where my desk & chair is from. Ding ding ding! Ikea. That place is seriously heaven on earth. I have my Things We Love book on the left, with some pencil tins next to it. Unfortunately it will probably be replaced by textbooks in the weeks to come but until then, it's sitting pretty on my desk.

Above my desk is my large noticeboard where I stick random things on. That also has fairy lights around it although you can't see it properly in the photo. The lanterns on top are also from Typo.

On my noticeboard, I have a calendar that I print out every month, my uni timetable, magazine cutouts, uni notes, post-it notes, Project Life cards, my keys - everything really.

Next to my desk is the same Ikea bookshelf as before but on its side. There are have my printer, some candles (Ikea my love), a bin, my mail thing (also from Typo), a phone thing, magazine holders, etc.

You might remember my London, New York, Sydney & Paris canvases from a while back. They hang right beside me as I work and here is a closeup of the things on my bookshelf. The candles & lantern are from Ikea, the phone was a gift from my dad and that's my old iPhone 4 (I got an iPhone 5S in Gold! Woo hoo!) & there is the mail holder in that gorgeous sky blue colour.

The Wooden Santa hanging on my light switch is a countdown to Christmas thing that my cousin got for me.

So, there you have it. Please let me know what you think in the comments down below & I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have. Also, if you or someone/blog you know also has room tours, I'd love to have a look so please leave a link down below. I hope you enjoyed a little peek into the life of Anna :-)

Love Always
