So, in a nutshell...
Step 1: Open up a new Word document
Step 2: Go to print & select "PAGE SETUP"
Step 3: Now click on "PAPER SIZE". Scroll down to "MANAGE CUSTOM SIZES"
Step 4: Change the dimensions to 9.5cm (width) x 17.2cm (length)
Step 5: Now back to your document, you should see that the page size has gotten a lot smaller. Here, you can type or add whatever you like. Leave margins of about 1cm on each side but about 1.5cm for the side on which you would like your holes to be.
Step 6: Print away! :-)
★ NOTE:
- Don't forget to check your "PRINT PREVIEW" very closely - sometimes the edges may be cut off so you have to adjust it a little
- Adjust the paper tray in your printer so that it would fit the Filofax paper you want to print on
- I would really love to tell you how to print double-sided and such, but that still confuses me from time-to-time so I don't trust myself to explain it to you
- I'm sure if you change the dimensions accordingly, you should be able to print on other size papers as well such as Mini, Pocket, A5, etc. (See here for the Filofax Size Guide)
I hope this really helps!
Lots of love, Anna Banana ♥
I followed all the steps you've written here but when I put the paper in the printer it goes in and comes out black again... Any ideas how to solve this? Gisforgingers xx
