First Downloadable Insert!

Hello everybody! I hope you've all been well :-)

I have some good news! And some bad news...

But as always, good news first! I finally got around to making some inserts that wasn't a copy of other brands (like the Kate Spade or Punctuate ones - which are gorgeous!) so that I would be able to make them free downloadables for y'all

It's not much but it's a start :D I guess you can sort of have it as a cover page to your diary section or maybe even as your dashboard since you can personalise it with your name and whatnot.

I really hope it works - linking it like this was the only way I knew to upload files but if someone knows a better way, I would really appreciate it if you could teach me :) I wanted to upload the actual Word Document so that you can personalise it a little - add your name, your favourite quote, change the font & colour, etc.

Now, for some bad news :(

Some of you may already have heard from Instagram but my Original Fluoro Pink Filofax in personal size was damaged in transit and had to be returned. Unfortunately, they're out of stock so I just asked for a refund and will not be getting it :'(

I was extremely saddened to hear this but thought I might take this as an opportunity to "tame" my Filofax addiction/obsession by just sticking with my trusty Metropol (for now).

So, that's it for me today. I really do hope the downloadable inserts works! And don't forget to change your paper size setting to the personal Filofax paper size (9.5cm x 17.2cm). See here for instructions on how to do this

How to print on personal size Filofax/organiser paper

So one thing I discovered not too long ago, was learning to print on Filofax personal size paper. For those of you out there who didn't know as well, this one's for you :D I should mention first, that I use a MacBook Pro & so all my settings and stuff are of course on a Mac. I'm not too sure how different it would be compared to other computers but I think they should be quite similar. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to comment below & I'll get back to you as soon as I can :)

So, in a nutshell...

Step 1: Open up a new Word document

Step 2: Go to print & select "PAGE SETUP"

Step 3: Now click on "PAPER SIZE". Scroll down to "MANAGE CUSTOM SIZES"

Step 4: Change the dimensions to 9.5cm (width) x 17.2cm (length)

Step 5: Now back to your document, you should see that the page size has gotten a lot smaller. Here, you can type or add whatever you like. Leave margins of about 1cm on each side but about 1.5cm for the side on which you would like your holes to be.

Step 6: Print away! :-)

★ NOTE:

• Don't forget to check your "PRINT PREVIEW" very closely - sometimes the edges may be cut off so you have to adjust it a little
• Adjust the paper tray in your printer so that it would fit the Filofax paper you want to print on
• I would really love to tell you how to print double-sided and such, but that still confuses me from time-to-time so I don't trust myself to explain it to you
• I'm sure if you change the dimensions accordingly, you should be able to print on other size papers as well such as Mini, Pocket, A5, etc. (See here for the Filofax Size Guide)
