Making Filofax Inserts from the Pocket Lilly Pulitzer Agenda

So, since I haven't posted in a while, I thought I might do two at once :D

As mentioned in the previous post, I wanted to share with you how I pulled apart my pocket agenda & cut the pages down to fit into my Filofax (personal size)

1. Pull apart the binding

2. Using a personal sized insert as a guide, line the pages & cut them

3. Since I don't have one of those fancy hole-punches, I had to draw each hole & use my single punch. Although a bit tedious, it actually didn't take that long - max. 20 minutes or so? Not bad, right?

Now I get to enjoy the adorable, colourful Lilly Pulitzer pages in my Filofax! Best of both worlds I say :D

Monthly "preview": July 2014

Month on 2 pages: July 2014

Week on 2 pages: 30 June - 6 July 2014

Pretty cute, no? Some of the date numbers did get cut off but it didn't bother me too much. Hopefully you'll see more of them in my weekly photos to come starting December 2013

Thanks for reading & I hope this helped!

Love Always,
Anna Banana ♥

  1. Cute idea. I also make my holes with a single-hole punch for my personal DIY inserts, but I have found a time saver. Rather than drawing the holes on each sheet, I clip a few sheets with two office clips (top and bottom) with a divider (that already has holes in it) on top of it. Then I punch them all at the same time using the divider as a guide. Then I repeat the same thing with the next 4-5 inserts (depending on how many the punch can handle). :)

  2. I love this post because I thought to do the same thing! It's finding paper sizes that fit comfortably. :( I have a hard time with that part. Thanks for the post, I am learning something new. You are awesome.
